At a minimum this is good for the unique HDA-87 parts that are no longer available which include both brass shutters, two shutter shafts choke and throttle, metering screws. It is complete minus the diaphragms, gaskets, and metering lever spring. This part may not fit all years or be used in the same manner for listed saws. The main jet may also be good but it is untested.

Can be used on model's 257, 261, 262. The HDA-87 adds extra power due to its larger venture and was only used in the first two years of 262xp production. It can also replace the current HDA-144a carburetor but will need a different plastic adjustment screw sleeve.
